INFORMATION FOR OUR CUSTOMERS:


CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY PREPARATION 

                                                      

>Please ensure to have all work areas broom cleaned and ready for the installers when they arrive.
>Please ensure to provide proper temperature and conditions at the job site indicated on your approved proposal.
>Unless otherwise specified, Customers responsibility includes the removal of furniture, fixtures, everything from cabinet, drawers, and appliances so that HDS shall have clear access to the work area. HDS is not responsible for damage to furniture as a result of moving and/or clearing such items not pertaining to the approved project.
>Installing cabinets/countertops is a construction project. We urge you to vacate the work area during the project.
>Installing cabinets/countertops is a construction project, which in process, may disclose unforeseen barriers to proper completion of the contracted work. Any unforeseen repairs to, or preparation of, the job site, are not the responsibility of HDS. Any additional work as a result of unforeseen repairs will be priced and agreed to prior to doing additional work. Customer agrees to pay for this additional work upon completion of work.
>Please be aware that installation or removal of materials may create dust in the air.
>Customer must take precautions he/she feels adequate to protect the surrounding area from such dust. HDS cannot be responsible for any damage resulting from dust nor be responsible to clean up dust in other than the area of the installers work area. However, HDS will prepare site to ensure we keep the work areas as professional as possible. 


WARRANTY 


  • Warranties are provided on a per project basis. Please see your sales manager for specific warranty information so that we can provide the adequate warranty that best suits your project and materials used. 
  • Please not warranties are not issued until your project has been completed so that we can ensure it meets the products warranty guidelines.  


CARE AND MAINTENANCE 


Depending on your product, it may require specific Care and Maintenance Guidelines. Please see your Sales Manager when your project is complete so that we can ensure your product is long lasting by following your specific Care and Maintenance guides. 


REFUND, RETURN, SHIPPING AND CANCELLATION POLICY


Your countertops and/or millwork are custom made and fabricated to your specifications. Due to their custom nature, we do not accept returns or issue refunds on these items. Once an order has been processed by us it will be scheduled for production. If we do not hear from you within 1 business day of your deposit, we will release the order for manufacturing.  Once released, changes or cancellations will not be allowed unless otherwise agreed to in writing from the designer/sales representative.

In the event a countertop or cabinet is fabricated incorrectly, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify us within 2 days immediately so that we may take the proper steps to expedite a modification or replacement if necessary. 

HDS offers professionals to measure and template in order to complete your project correctly. Any and all drawings and specs must be signed by both you and your designer from HDS.  

In the event the project site is not ready for install on your scheduled install date. Please notify us within 24 hours. HDS reserves the right to charge a trip fee of $175 if our installers arrive and are unable to begin install due to the site not being properly ready for the install process.

HDS provides warranties on projects that have been completed and signed off. Most countertop brands we work with provide warranties from 5 years to lifetime, depending on the material chosen. HDS will provide that information to you after completion of your project and payments have been made in full.

Other applicable fees:

*When ordering only material from HDS, and a cancellation must be made after the order has been shipped. The shipping fee (prices vary based on the size of your order) and a 20% restocking fee will be applied.

*Design fee of up to $375 may apply (per project basis). Please consult with HDS prior to requesting a design.
